Weddings at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum are spectacular events that celebrate love in the great outdoors. The Arboretum is a 1,137-acre horticultural garden and arboretum located near Chanhassen MN. Throughout its sprawling landscape are dozens of various gardens and plant collections including multiple rose gardens, a wildflower garden, Japanese Garden, Chinese Garden, perennial and annual gardens, grass gardens, woodland gardens, tree and shrub collections and even a new dog park. Couples choosing to get married at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum can choose from a huge variety of gardens for their wedding ceremonies. They can also choose from several locations for their wedding receptions. The MN Landscape Arboretum is so large that it can easily accommodate several weddings each day - even at the same time!
The MN Landscape Arboretum also features sculpture and art works by both local and national artists. The art is featured within the landscapes and gardens, and often features more natural works or works that feature natural creatures and objects (such as plants, insects, etc.) It's fun to see what is featured at the Arboretum every year - both in the warmer summer months as well as in the coldest parts of the winter!
I've had the honor of working with many couples on both their weddings as well as their engagement sessions. I've photographed couples in the Bog Garden, Grasses Garden, Fireplace Room, Sensory Garden, Japanese Garden, Woodland Garden, and even throughout some of the art and sculptures that were featured in the gardens. I've photographed receptions in both the MacMillan Auditorium as well as the Snyder Auditorium.
I would be so honored to work with you as your Minneapolis wedding photographer for your MN Landscape Arboretum wedding! Take a look at some of my blog posts featuring weddings at the MN Landscape Arboretum:
