STUDIO PREPAREDNESS FOR COVID-19

Carina Photographics is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all clients and session participants. To ensure this, I have developed the following COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. My goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our workspace and communities, and that requires full cooperation among our clients and session participants. Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of our workspace.

THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF MY CLIENTS IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE

Our COVID-19 Preparedness Plan follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) guidelines, Federal OSHA standards related to COVID-19, and addresses:
> Health checks
> Hygiene and respiratory etiquette
> Contact-free payments
> Utilizing social distancing techniques
> Studio housekeeping
> Minimizing attendees

HEALTH CHECKS

Any studio employees or photographic assistants who are sick are expected to stay home. Photographic sessions may need to be rescheduled. We also request that any clients who feel signs of illness prior to arriving at our studio to please reschedule their session or meeting, and reschedule if you live in a household with someone who is showing signs of illness or needs to be quarantined.

HAND WASHING

I wash my hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water frequently throughout the day, but especially at the beginning and end of a studio session, prior to any mealtimes and after using the restroom. All attendees to the studio will be required to wash their hands prior to or immediately upon entering the studio. Hand sanitizer will be available for clients.

RESPIRATORY ETIQUETTE

CDC recommends that all people (over age 2) wear a cloth face covering over their nose and mouth in the community setting during the COVID-19 pandemic. I will be wearing a mask at all times while in the presence of clients or session attendees. All clients and studio participants (over age 2) should wear a face mask while not being photographed.

CONTACT-FREE PAYMENTS

To minimize risk going forward, all transactions will be completed contact-free. Once you have reserved your session with me, I will send you a digital invoice via email with instructions on how to complete your payment. At no point will we exchange a credit/debit card, cash, or check in person. Online payments can be made via credit/debit card, Venmo/PayPal/Google Pay, or ACH (electronic check payment). Electronic invoice and contact-free payment will also be arranged for all artwork purchases as well.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

I ask that we maintain a minimum of 6-feet distance between us at all times. You are of course welcome to be closer than 6-feet to the family members who are in attendance with you. I will be using no-touch posing methods and instructing you and anyone being photographed from a safe social distance.

STUDIO HOUSEKEEPING

Regular housekeeping practices are being implemented using a hospital grade sanitizer. This includes routine cleaning and disinfecting of work surfaces, equipment, props and areas in the work environment. Frequent cleaning and disinfecting will be conducted in high-touch areas, such as light switches, door handles, changing room surfaces, etc. Extra time will be scheduled between sessions to allow for airing out the studio.

MINIMIZE ATTENDEES

To further minimize risk, I ask that you do not bring additional attendees to your session. Please only allow guests that are needed for portraits and transportation.
