Wabasha Street Caves Wedding Photographers
Kate + John were planning their wedding for the Wabasha Street Caves. I was so excited as I loved going to that venue for dance nights before the Covid pandemic, but hadn’t been back in quite awhile. And while their wedding was scheduled there, they also wanted to find a great venue for couple photos beforehand. We talked about options and they fell in love with the idea of the Como Conservatory, so they booked both the Sunken Garden as well as the North Garden for the afternoon before their big event.
We met up on their chilly November afternoon and started photos of the two of them outside the Conservatory, and then worked in both the Sunken Garden and North Garden, and finished up with a few more in the Palm Dome. Once their time was complete, we headed off to the Wabasha Caves for their big event!
Wabasha Street Caves Wedding + Reception
Kate + John’s wedding began with a quick cocktail hour to meet and greet the guests. After cocktails and family portraits, they held their wedding ceremony in front of the Wabasha Caves fireplace. They had some great speeches and toasts given by close friends, and finally tied the knot. Then it was on to the party!
Their reception began with their first dance. They then transitioned into a family dance for themselves and their four kiddos. Then they had an amazing dinner, desserts, cocktails and more partying the night away into the wee hours of the night.
Thank You!
Kate + John, thank you so much for working with me for your wedding photography! I had so much fun working with you and your families, and I’m so happy for you both as you begin your new lives together.
